Wicketed Bags

Stretchtape’s wicketed bags include more bags per bundle and some offer gusseted, or expandable, spacing at the bottom or on the sides of the bags. Wicketed bags allow for easy automated, semi-automated, or manual dispensing. 

These clear poly bags are produced for mounting on blowing equipment to easily open the bag for products to be inserted. They allow for unobstructed viewing of the product and are often used for customers bagging retail products, garments and apparel, boutique items, ice, jewelry, part covers, and shopping bags.

Stretchtape’s wicketed bags can be custom-made with a variety of materials, including linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), low density polyethylene (LDPE), and high-density polyethylene (HDPE). LLDPE bags are extremely flexible, but have a lower strength and puncture resistance than HDPE material and are ideal for shopping bags, sandwich bags, and apparel.

Our HDPE bags have a higher tensile strength and can withstand higher temperatures than LLDPE bags. They can be opaque to prevent unwanted light exposure. Both materials are resistant to most acids, chemicals, and other liquids.

Loose pack bags are available in numerous colors and can have custom-printed images, text, or logos for product or brand identification.
